The 8815 is lightweight, and built to comply with the most stringent military requirements, including RTCA DO-160D and MIL-STD-810G.

This unit is completely sealed.  It is equipped with configurable front controls and push buttons, and ruggedized to military requirements.  Options include, versions without resistive touchscreen, an LCDM heater, NVIS compliant and dual mode.
